What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
